LONDON: Europe's main stock markets fell at the start of trading on Thursday, with London's FTSE 100 benchmark index of top shares losing 0.25 percent to 5,877.35 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 also lost 0.25 percent to reach 7,053.42 points and in Paris the CAC 40 slid 0.36 percent in value to stand at 3,514.61. burs-bcp/hd
