LONDON: European stock markets diverged in opening trade on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index marginally higher at 7,448.24 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index dropped nearly 0.3 percent to 11,979.73 points and the Paris CAC 40 declined almost 0.1 percent to 5,471.74 compared with Friday's closing levels.
