FRANKFURT AM MAIN: European stocks closed with stong gains on Friday after the head of the Federal Reserve signalled the US central bank was no longer set on raising interest rates.
Frankfurt closed 3.4 percent higher, followed by a gain of 2.7 percent in Paris with London rising 2.2 percent.
