The government has announced the sad demise of Dr Muhammad Zubair Yousfani, a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Customs Service on June 20, 2018. At the time of his death, the officer was posted as project director (ITTMS), Customs Wing, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) said on Tuesday that Dr Muhammad Zubair Yousfani was born on February 06, 1963. He started his career from the erstwhile Customs & Excise Group as assistant collector on October 31, 1992. The officer served at various important positions during his career spanning over a period of more than 25 years including FBR (HQ) and various field formations of Customs and Sales Tax department. He was a thorough professional with profound reputation of diligent and hardworking officer having complete command over Customs and Sales Tax laws and procedures.
