Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the religious parties's alliance (MMA) was a message for the agents of international establishment that there was no scope for them in this country now. According to media cell of JI at Mansoora, he was addressing the graduation ceremony of the Jamia Asaria Chamkani, Peshawar on Sunday.
Sirajul Haq said that peace in the country was linked with the enforcement of the Islamic system. He said that Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam and the Islamic system would be enforced here at any cost. He said that the statements about "aliens" role in the elections had shaken the voters' confidence in the electoral system and added that the Election Commission should have to review the entire electoral structure to regain the voters' confidence, in the ballot and the ballot box.
The JI chief demanded reasonable budget allocation for the three and a half million students studying in the madrissahs. He said it was strange that while no government funds were allocated for the madrissahs, there was a demand for the audit of the madrissahs funds.
Siraj said that the madrissahs were the custodians of the survival and the solidarity of Pakistan. He pointed out that whenever some enemy invaded this country, the Khwanin and vaderas fled the country out of fear while the madrissah students and teachers stood for the country's defence.
He said that India was threatening this country only because of the cowardice of the rulers. He said that the US had tried to target Pakistan after improving its hold in Afghanistan. However, he said that the US was now facing humiliating defeat and was in search of a way out of Afghanistan.
He said the international establishment had thrust a bloody war on the Muslim world. He said that actually the enemies of Islam were afraid of Jihad and the love for martyrdom among the Muslims. He said that Jihad was the guarantee for end of slavery.
