Former Chairman Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) Mahmood Moulvi has been appointed head of Insaf Business Forum Karachi. Mahmood Moulvi, Chairman of M M Group of Companies has recently stepped up in politics and joined Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) in a meeting with party head Imran Khan.
The appointment of Moulvi as head of Insaf Business Forum Karachi has been made by Firdos Shamim Naqvi, President Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Karachi Division. Moulvi is a leading rice exporter and has a vast experience in the rice and grains, shipping, cooking oil and stock business. Presently, he is also serving as chairman of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPPCI) Standing Committee on "Rice Exports" for the year 2018.
He is also member of Pakistan Stock Exchange, All Pakistan Solvent Association, Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers Association, Pakistan Ship Agents Association, Pakistan Ship Breaking Association, Bin Qasim Trade and Industry Association and Pakistan Flour Mills Association. Moulvi has good connection in the business community, of which the leadership of the PTI has decided to appoint him as head Insaf Business Forum Karachi.
He had served as Chairman Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) in 2016-17 and made all possible efforts to promote Pakistani rice in the world market.
