Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has claimed that Imran Niazi has lost his creditability in the public by speaking lies and continued indulgence in baseless allegations. "Our life and death is meant for Pakistan and we will continue to serve the nation till the last breath of our lives," Shahbaz said, adding: "Our sole agenda is the selfless service of 220 million people of Pakistan and all will have to move in unison to move the country forward."
Talking to a delegation of PML-N in London on Friday, Shahbaz said that Pakistan shall achieve its destination with collective efforts and wisdom.
"Any approach based on individualism has no value and Pakistan can be moved forward with the power of unity. If we decide to make the country great by following the principles of hard work, unity and trust, Pakistan shall emerge as a great country in the comity of nations," he said.
He added that people can only be served through hard work, honesty and trust while the negative political style always distracts the nation.
He said the elements opposing the nation will have to face the wrath of the people in the elections of 2018. He said the politics of deceit, anarchy and baseless allegations has damaged the national interest and observed that prioritizing the personal interests over national interests is a cruel joke with the people. Those who got their loans worth billions of rupees waived off are now talking about eliminating corruption, he said.
According to him, the PML-N government has introduced a new trend by promoting transparency and completion of high-quality development projects.
"Our hands are clean and there is no allegation of corruption of even a single penny. International agencies have also acknowledged the enhanced state of transparency in Pakistan," he added.
