PMEX daily trading report

On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,182. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 7.031 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,807. Major business was contributed by WTI crude oil amounting to PKR 1.593 billion, followed by gold PKR 1.263 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.259 billion, DJ PKR 1.167 billion, SP500 PKR 543.762 million, NSDQ100 PKR 531.431 million, copper PKR 333.437 million, silver PKR 213.072 million, platinum PKR 61.059 million, natural gas PKR 39.031 million and Brent crude oil PKR 24.713 million. In agricultural commodities, 13 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 5.478 million were traded.
