A Palestinian was shot dead in clashes with Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, Palestinian officials said. The health ministry announced the man died after being shot dead near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, with Palestinian official news agency WAFA saying there were clashes. It comes as Israeli forces continue to search the area around Nablus after an Israeli settler was shot dead near the city on Tuesday by unknown assailants.
