Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf accused Ali Musa Gilani son of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani of firing on the motorcade of Imran Khan that was on way to Lahore from Okara but the latter denied the charge saying that his guards were threatened near Pattoki. Aaj News reported that PTI blamed security guards of Ali Musa Gilani for opening fire following a road altercation. Gilani was travelling in a vehicle whereas the guards were in another vehicle.
PTI spokesman said that a First Information Report (FIR) would be lodged against son of the ex-PM who belongs to Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Imran Khan criticised PPP leadership in his public addresses for alleged corruption. On the other hand, Musa Gilani said that his motorcade was attacked by the guards of PTI chairman Imran Khan. He said that he will address a press conference to disclose details.
