President Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Robina Amjad said that the First Women Entrepreneurs Festival will be organized at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) on January 19th, 2018 to showcase the products manufactured by the local women entrepreneurs. Addressing the Executive Committee meeting of Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI), she said that it will provide a unique opportunity to women entrepreneurs to introduce their products at the national level.
Robina Amjad said that FWCCI has already started its activities in this regard. Many functions and awareness sessions have already been arranged and among the scheduled programme is Women Entrepreneurs Festival. Similarly Traffic Awareness Session, Workshop on Women Empowerment and Seminar by State Bank of Pakistan are in the pipeline.
Regarding Women Entrepreneurs Festival, she said that FWCCI will fully contribute in this festival to make it productive and fruitful. She hoped that leading members of FWCCI will setup their stalls in this festival which will be visited by hi fi dignitaries from all over the country. Continuing president FWCCI said that office bearers as well as Executive Committee Members should also focus on enhancing the membership of this newly created trade body which has been mandated to involve the Women Entrepreneurs in the national mainstream.
Vice President FWCCI Urwa Nabeel underlined the importance of making FWCCI a strong financial body so that it could initiate and organise various awareness sessions for the education and guidance of its members. She said that all Executive members should voluntary contribute at least Rs 10,000 each so that we could organise our future programmes in a befitting manner.
Saniya Iftikhar delivered lecture on the preservation of fruits and vegetables in most hygienic manners. She said that various items of human consumption could be preserved for a long duration by just applying simple scientific methods. Later Vice President offered vote of thanks to the guests and executive committee members.
