Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday dismissed former petroleum minister Dr Asim Hussain's plea pertaining to his release. Justice Farooq Shah forwarded the matter to Chief Justice for further proceeding.
Dr Asim's lawyers submitted a petition seeking amendment in the court's verdict. The court had granted a bail to Dr Asim Hussain on medical grounds over surety bonds of Rs2.5 million each.
