In order to facilitate collection of government duties / taxes, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has advised the NIFT to provide a special clearing facility at 5:00 pm on Friday, March 31, 2017. Banks are, therefore, advised to keep their concerned branches open on March 31, 2017 (Friday) till such time that is necessary to facilitate special clearing for Government transactions, SBP said.
