JUI-F began work on setting up stage and seating arrangements for the participants of its three-day international congregation scheduled from April 7 to 9, 2017. The moot is expected to be attended by 2 million people from all four provinces, AJK, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In this connection, a two-day meeting of the provincial council of JUI-F was also held to take crucial decisions regarding the arrangements of congregation.
The meeting presided over by provincial ameer, JUI-F, Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan, was also attended by Deputy Chairman, Senate, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidery, Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk, Mufti Kifayatullah, Maulana Rahat Hussain, Maulana Atta-ul-Haq Darwaish, Abdul Jalil Jan, Maulana Aziz Ahmad, Shams-ur-Rehman Shamsi, Haji Ishaq, Maulana Ainuddin Shakir, Maulana Waheed Marwat, members of National & provincial assemblies and district office bearers.
JUI-F has dispatched invitations for participation in the congregation to international personalities including Imam Kaba, Darul Uloom Deoband, JUI (Hind) and leaders of other countries.
In this connection, a high-level delegation of JUI-F will soon depart for India, Bangladesh, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other states to invite dignitaries to the event. Similarly, a written application regarding the congregation has also been dispatched to Governor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Secretary KP, Commissioner Peshawar, Inspector General of Police (IGP) KP, Home Secretary, D.I.G Mardan, Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, District Police Officer (DPO) Nowshera, and district and tehsil Nazims.
The meeting of the provincial council was told that training of 25000 volunteers for the congregation has been completed and training in this regard in all four provinces has been concluded while final touches are being given to arrangements for the media coverage of the congregation through print, electronic and social media in very organised manner.
Preparations for setting up stage and an area of 10000 kanal have been initiated and work on bazaar, canteen, helipad, dispensaries and other requirements has also been started.
This purpose, thousands of acres of land of Royal, City Homes and Shaheen Society are being utilised where a huge parking facility will also be established.
