Sindh High Court has ordered Sindh chief secretary to de-notify the appointment of Murtaza Wahab as the adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister on Law immediately and produce notification of his removal. Aaj News reported on Friday night that the SHC also warned to take action if ordered action was not taken.
Sindh advocate general informed the SHC that the summary for Murtaza Wahab's removal from his position as adviser was referred to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah but he Shah was out of city. He said that Sindh chief minister would sign the document on his arrival.
Sindh High Court also sought details of income and perks given to Murtaza Wahab since his appointment.
SHC ordered to suspend the income and perks being given to him. Last year, the court had ordered his removal as adviser but he still retains his position.
On the other hand, Murtaza Wahab said that he will file an appeal against the Sindh High Court's decision in the Supreme Court. He claimed that he was not enjoying any perks or using the government office as an adviser since the court's orders.
