The business community of Southern Punjab has felicitated the United Business Group (UBG) on its landslide victory in FPCCI elections 2016-17 describing it an acknowledgement of its services for the cause of business community. President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi has congratulated Abdul Rauf and S Khalid Tawab on their success in FPCCI elections as president and senior vice president of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), respectively.
He said that traders of South Punjab have supported the UBG unconditionally and with open heart. In his felicitation message to S M Munir, leader of United Business Group Roomi said that traders and business community has once again relied upon them keeping in view its past services.
He also congratulated Mian Rehman Aziz and Zulfigar Ali Shaikh who were elected vice presidents from Punjab and Sindh respectively. Candidates of UBG elected on 4 seats of association of trade and industry include Muhammad Hanif Gohar, Arshad Farooq, Zafar Bakhtawari and Syed Muhammad Aasim while Sajida Zulfiqar also a nominee of UBG, was elected as vice president on a seat of women chambers and UBG's candidate. Faisal Jamal Dashti was elected vice president from Balochistan.
