LAHORE: Punjab Agriculture Minister Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh has said a comprehensive planning is being made to ensure plantation in forests and livestock farms.
Presiding over a meeting at irrigation office here on Friday, he said that plants were very useful not only for use as wood but also a good source of food for animals.
He said that this year during a plantation campaign, plants would be planted in 22 farms of livestock besides canal banks.
He said that forests not only enhanced the beauty of nature but also helped control environment pollution.
He asked officers to create awareness among people about plantation.
