Pakistan Railways (PR) would operate two special winter trains from Karachi to Lahore this month. Divisional Commercial Officer (DCO) Nasir Nazeer said that the decision was made in order to cope with the growing passenger rush at reservations offices of the public entity. The first train would leave for Lahore from the port city on December 30, 2016 at 12:30pm. Similarly the 2nd train would be operated on December 31 at 8:30 pm.
Some 13 coaches would be attached with each train. Commuters may avail travel tickets by today. The trains would start their journey from Karachi Cantonment station via Hyderabad, Tandoadam, Nawabshah, Mehrabpur, Rohri, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan, Khanpur, Multan, Sahiwal and then Lahore.
