SU vice chancellor visits Academic-cum-administrative block of University

Professor Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Vice-Chancellor, Sindh University visited the Academic-cum-Administra-tive block of the Varsity to review infrastructural, administrative, academic and other relevant issues. Dr Kalhoro went around Maintenance Cell, Security Section and Department of Anthropology and Archaeology all situated at the said block.
He also engaged in in-depth discussion with the relevant officers regarding the prevailing issues. In the light of that detailed dialogue, he made some on-the-spot decisions and issued orders for in-time implementation of the same. As per the decisions taken, the entire block would be bifurcated into two equal sections, ie Department of Anthropology and Archaeology and administrative section comprising Maintenance Cell and Security Section.
The entrance of the administrative sections would be built anew from the current backside of the building; whereas, the entrance for the teaching department would remain as it is. Dr Kalhoro also ordered construction of some additional units of toilets at the premises.
