The Assistant Commissioner Mirpurkhas,Muhammad Khan Khatti has directed to speed up operation against illegal encroachments under National Action Plan. While presiding over a meeting on Monday to expedite process of operation against illegal encroachments over public property in Mirpurkhas, Hussain Bux Marri and Sindhri Talukas of the district, the Assistant Commissioner directed the concerned officials to submit him a detailed report with marking of encroached areas so that the operation could be accelerated.
The Assistant Commissioner also directed the officials of Pakistan Railways to submit a report with marking of encroached areas so that property of Railway department could be retrieved from encroachers. He asked the officials of Revenue department to visit concerned areas and identify encroachments. Muhammad Khan Khatti also directed the HESCO authorities to remove poles of electricity transmission from the centres of the roads immediately. The Assistant Commissioner asked the Municipal engineer to cooperate with the district administration during anti encroachment drive and ensure removal of debris from the roads after the operation concluded.
