I wish that the Emperor and members of the Imperial Family enjoy continued good health, prosperity and happiness.
The Imperial Household of Japan is the oldest continuing royal family in the world, back about 2700 years. The Birthday of His Imperial Majesty is often a moment of solemn reflection for the People of Japan. On 23 December, a public ceremony takes place at the Imperial Palace, where the gates of the palace are opened to public.
Thanks to Government the economy of Pakistan is improving and our business is expanding consequently. Pakistan and Japan make efforts to boost the expansion in investment and trade between each other which could contribute to the social and economic development. Both Countries has an enduring affiliation of mutual conviction and respect.
I pray for His Majesty's long life and like to take the opportunity to wish a Happy New Year, hoping that it will bring peace and prosperity for the people of Japan and Pakistan. I firmly believe that we will continue building our bilateral relations in the coming year under the spirit of even more trust, sincerity and cooperation.
