The Islamabad based Country Head of the UK"s Department For International Development (DFID), Ms Joanna Reid called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra at Pakhtunkhwa House, Islamabad on Thursday. Ms Joanna Reid apprised the Governor of the role and services which the DFID has been contributing to help government of Pakistan in its efforts for socioeconomic well-being of the people.
She also offered every possible support to help the government in its efforts for implementing rehabilitation and re-construction projects in FATA. Talking on the occasion, the Governor welcomed the good gesture of DFID. He also highlighted the ongoing measures of the government for mainstreaming the people of FATA and ensuring their socio-economic uplift.
