Chairman Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU), Ali Raza Syed on Monday met Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organisation, Mishal Malik, here. During the meeting, Ali Raza informed her about various efforts of Kashmir Council Europe for raising Kashmir issue in Europe. Senior Office Bearer of KC-EU Sardar Saddique was also present on the occasion.
Mishal Malik, who is wife of Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Yasin Malik, also discussed situation of human rights in the Indian held Kashmir (IHK). Chairman Kashmir Council EU said, "The council has recently held the week-long event of "Kashmir EU-Week" at European Parliament in Brussels." Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Raja Farooq Haider was chief guest of the program at the European headquarters.
He said, "The Kashmir EU-Week's programs were comprised international conferences, seminars, debates, workshops and a photos and a handicraft exhibition on Kashmir."
Large number of the people specially members of EU parliament, experts, intellectuals, human rights activists and scholars from Europe, US, Canada, Pakistan, AJK and Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) attended the programs.
