GulRex Club has won the trophy after defeating Choice Club in the final of the Choice International Twenty20 Cricket Tournament played here at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Mina Khan Afridi, Nazim Town-1 and President Peshawar District Sports and Culture and Shafi Ur Rehman, Manager Choice International, graced the occasion as guest.
GulRex skipper Idress won the toss and decided to bat first by setting up a good total of 181 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs and restricted the opponents 133 all out in 19.3 overs with both Jamal and Obaid took three wickets each and played a key role in their team success. Thus GulRex club won the match by 49 runs. For Choice Club Waqar Wazir, Muhammad Asif, Hamad Ud Din and Salman claimed two wickets each.
