On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,022. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.77 billion and the number of lots traded was 19,846. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS PKR 2.31 billion, followed by crude oil amounting PKR 1.69 billion, gold PKR 1.47 billion, silver PKR 245.29 million, copper PKR 39.63 million and cotton PKR 3.40 million.
