LHC moved against medics on strike

An advocate has approached the Lahore High Court seeking a strict action against young doctors for denying health services even to critical patients at public hospitals. Najaf Abbas Shah pleaded that a handful of the young doctors were on strike for the last many days causing suspension of health facilities at the hospitals. He argued that law does not permit the doctors to refuse medical facility to any patient. He asked to the court to order the provincial government to register criminal cases against them.
