Meezan Bank, Pakistan's first and largest Islamic bank, has been acknowledged with first position for Best HRM Practices in 2016 in the category of 'Large National Companies' by Employers Federation of Pakistan (EFP). The award was announced at the International HR Conference held on October 21, 2016 in Karachi.
The conference was duly supported by the International Labour Organisation (ILO). Meezan Bank's Head of Human Resources - Khalid Zaman Khan received the award on behalf of the Bank. Meezan Bank has been acknowledged with this reputable award for the first time, which reflects its best HR practices in the industry. It is noteworthy that the Bank has been recognised among organisations with HR practices that strengthen employee engagement and commitment that include various multinationals, private & public companies, large nationals & SMEs.
Employers Federation of Pakistan (EFP) was founded in 1950 and its membership currently comprises over 600 multinational, large national and SME companies. EFP is the only employers' body in Pakistan which is the member of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) based in Geneva, Switzerland and is affiliated with the International Labour Organisation (ILO).-PR
