The government has announced to reduce loadshedding to three hours in urban areas and four hours in rural areas. A statement issued by the Prime Minister office stated that, on the directions of Prime Minister, tomorrow onwards, loadshedding in the country will be reduced by half that is, 3 hours urban and 4 hours rural. Prime Minister has tasked the Secretary Water and Power to seamlessly and effectively implement the decision first on trial basis.
