Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar Friday constituted Enforcement Team for tobacco control to monitor the implementation of tobacco laws in the district. The Enforcement Team will be comprised of Assistant Commissioner (AC) Peshawar (Chairman), Additional Assistant Commissioner Peshawar, Focal Person/ Member and Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Cantonment, Project Co-ordinator, PTCC, KP, Peshawar, Director HRDO (NGO), Peshawar and any other member /members co-opted by the chairperson as members.
The Enforcement Team will visit public places/public transport or any place deem necessary by competent authority and will monitor the implementation of tobacco laws.
