Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Thursday appointed Azim Abbas as head of Food Services Division after promoting him as General Manager (GM). According to details, CEO Bernd Hildenbrand is laying special emphasis on revitalizing the food Services Division in the airline.
He directed the new GM to ensure that menus on PIA flights are changed regularly, keeping view the public feedback and highest standards of taste and hygiene be ensured.
Hildenbrand asked him to encourage innovation and improvisation in menus for both business and economy classes on domestic as well as international flights.
He also directed the Food Services Division to strengthen its mechanism for registering feedback from the passengers so that decision making can be done accordingly.
