Pakistani Ambassador meets Saudi defence minister
RIYADH: Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan called on Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday in his office.
The Ambassador conveyed felicitations and greetings of the Minister of Defence of Pakistan to Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz which he warmly reciprocated.
During the meeting, the matters relating to bilateral defence cooperation of the two countries were discussed. Both sides expressed satisfaction over the existing level of cooperation in this field.
They agreed that both countries must explore means to further enhance and deepen this relationship for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz expressed his pleasure that the close relationship in the field of defence and security was time- tested and based on solid foundations.
The Ambassador shared with the Defence Minister several initiatives which would enable the two countries to take forward the bilateral strategic partnership.
The Ambassador reiterated the invitation extended to Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz by the Pakistani Defence Minister to visit Pakistan.
