NAIROBI: Kenya's central bank said it was staying out of the repo market on Tuesday after three consecutive repo offers failed to attract any bids from commercial banks.
The banks has mopped up 25.6 billion shilling ($302.2 million) in January, which has tightened liquidity in the market and helped the shilling strengthen 1.1 percent this year.
