At least five terrorists of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) were killed in exchange of fire with police here on Wednesday. SSP Malir Rao Anwar said that police responding to a tip-off about the presence of elements involved in suspicious activities conducted search operation near Indus Plaza in Sohrab Goth locality of Karachi. The suspects taking shelter in the locality seeing of police party opened fire which led to an encounter.
In cross firing five alleged terrorists of TTP involved in attacks on police and Rangers personnel were killed. The terrorists have holed up in Sohrab Goth graveyard with cache of weapons from where they used to conduct terror activities.
