LONDON: Europe's main stock markets rose at the open on Wednesday following gains in Asia and on Wall Street.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.4 percent at 7,656.73 points compared with Tuesday's closing level.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.5 percent to 12,728.41 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.4 percent to 5,441.54.
