KARACHI: Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh has clarified that so far ANP has not made any alliance with any political or religious party in Karachi but only made seat adjustment in two each national and provincial constituencies.
ANP Sindh spokesman here on Wednesday said in a statement that ANP candidate for NA-249 Aurang Zaib Buneeri has withdrawn in favour of PML N President Shehbaz Sharif while from NA-250 Shehbaz Sharif has withdrawn in favour of ANP Sindh President Shahi Sayed.
He further informed that ANP candidate for PS-114 Zafar Khalil has withdrawn in favour of PML-N Saeed Ullah Afradi while from PS-104 ANP candidate Anwar Ullah Achkzai has withdrawn in favour of Grand Democratic Alliance's candidate Irfan Ullah Marwat.
ANP spokesman said that consultation is ongoing with various political and religious parties for seat adjustment and media will be informed if any alliance or further seat adjustment is made.
