ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fehmida Mirza called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at Prime Minister House here on Tuesday and discussed matters pertaining to legislation in the National Assembly.
The Prime Minister appreciated the Speaker for running the House in an orderly manner, adding that her acumen and political sagacity were an asset for the House.
The Speaker thanked the Prime Minister for directing the federal agencies to help the rain-affected people of Sindh province on war footing.
The Speaker apprised the Prime Minister about the rehabilitation work in her constituency, which was going on at a satisfactory pace.
