CJCSC to pay a 4-day visit to Sri Lanka

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Zubair Mahmood Hayat will visit Sri Lanka on the invitation of Sri Lankan Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral R.C. Wijegunaratne from June 27 to 30, the Pakistan High Commission at Colombo said in a statement Tuesday.

During his four-day visit, General Zubair will pay a courtesy call on Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, Chief of Defence Staff, Defence Secretary, Commanders of Sri Lanka Army, Navy and Air Force. In his meetings with Sri Lankan political and military hierarchy, he will discuss matters of mutual understanding and cooperation, the statement said.
