imssaaISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the Senate to meet in the Parliament House on January 17 (Tuesday) at 1600 hours.

The President has summoned the session in exercise of powers conferred on him by Clause (1) of Article (54) of the Constitution. It will be the 77th session of the Senate and likely to discuss vital issues facing the country.
