It took 20 years in the making, but BMW iconic 8 Series Coupe is finally here, bringing in the flashiness of a sports car with the spirit of the BMW luxury class.

Design:

The BMW 8 Series Coupe is the result of a new design language focusing on modernity and emotional engagement.

“The BMW 8 Series Coupé opens a new chapter in BMW's design language,” stated Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design.

Highlights include a wide and elongated silhouette, slim window pillars, a distinctive low flowing roofline, packed with Full LED headlights.

Interior:

Inside the 2019 BMW 8 Series Coupe, a wide centre console capped by a freestanding and frameless Control Display separates the driver and front passenger.

The newly developed sports seats, finished in premium Merino bicolor Individual leather and featuring accent stitching, are said to offer high levels of long-distance comfort and excellent lateral support. And good news for rear passengers: A semi-electric folding function has been included for the front seat backrests to facilitate entry and exit.

Engine:

A 4.4 liter twin power turbo V8 petrol engine, the 530 horsepower or390 kW beast can take from 0 to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds, asserting its position as a true race car.
