KP launches first online stamp paper

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has launched first online stamp paper verification system from Battagram district which would stop the selling of bogus stamp paper and fraud.

According to official sources, from this centre online stamp paper would be provided to the consumers and the data would be saved at three different places, Radio Pakistan reported.

He said now people can verify the stamp paper by sending an SMS to 8583 by writing the stamp paper serial number or through using a Smartphone app “Veri Stamp”.
