KARACHI: Chief of the Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain said on Thursday that he is ready to talk to the Taliban.

It may be mentioned that the MQM have run campaigns against the Taliban in the past.

According to reports, Pakistan’s security agencies and the local Taliban had entered solution-based talks in the past.

It was hoped that the agreement would restore peace in the country’s lawless northern areas.
