KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 22,464.05 points with a positive change of 43.95 and volume of 79,034,000 shares. High and Low were 22,796.49 and 22,295.78 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 19 were up, 11 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 139,341,190 shares. Total companies traded were 343 of which 193 were positive, 128 were negative and 22 were unchanged.

Cable and Electrical Goods was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 16,909,600 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 13,918,100 shares.

The top three advancers were Rafhan Maize Products Company Limited with a volume of 160 and price per share of 8,398 (398.00), Unilever Pakistan Food Limited with a volume of 20 and price per share of 8,699 (331.00), Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited with a volume of 20 and price per share of 2,940 (140.00).

The top three decliners were Bata Pakistan Limited with a volume of 960 and price per share of 2,003.67 (-46.33), Wyeth Pakistan Limited with a volume of 200 and price per share of 1,460 (-20.00), Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited with a volume of 2,100 and price per share of 290.78 (-14.22).
