ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly here Tuesday granted approval to 93 demands for grants of over Rs 2,697,489,636,000 for various federal ministries and divisions for expenditures during the fiscal year starting from July 1st, 2018.

Federal Finance Minister, Dr. Miftah Ismail moved the demands for 93 grants to meet the expenditure during the next fiscal year 2018-19.

According to details for Airports Security Forces, the house approved Rs 6,275,000,000, for Meteorology Rs1,235,000,000, National Security Division Rs 51,000,000, Stationery and Printing Rs 113,000,000, Commerce Division Rs 4,912,000,000, Communication Division Rs 3,507,000,000, Survey of Pakistan Rs 1,322,000,000, Federal Government Educational Institutions and Cantonment and Garrisons Division Rs 5,717,000,000.

Similarly for Defence Services, it approved Rs1,100,000,000,000, for Defence Production Division Rs 698,000,000, Geological Survey of Pakistan Rs 489,000,000, Federal Education and Professional Trainings Division Rs1,476,000,000, Pakistan MINT Rs 602,000,000, National Savings Rs 3,047,000,000, other expenditure of Finance Division Rs 17,061,000,000, Superannuation Allowances and Pension Rs 338,134,800,000, Grant in Aid and Miscellaneous Adjustments between the Federal and Provincial governments Rs 92,500,000,000, Inland Revenue Rs 13,335,000,000, other expenditure on Foreign Affairs Division Rs 2,583,000,000, Estate Office Rs 143,000,000, Federal Lodges Rs 100,000,000, Other Expenditure of Industries and Production Division Rs 936,000,000, Director of Publications, Newsreels and documentaries Rs 331,000,000, Press Information Department Rs 725,000,000 and for Information Service Abroad it approved Rs 807,000,000.

For development expenditure of Establishment Division, it approved Rs 25,000,000, while for development expenditure of SUPARCO, the house approved Rs 4,700,000,000, for development expenditure of Climate Change Division Rs 802,699,000,

Similarly, the house also approved Rs62,026,495,000 for, Development expenditure of Water Resources Division while for capital outlay on development of Atomic Energy it approved Rs28,639,890,000, Capital outlay on Petroleum Division Rs943,175,000, Capital outlay on federal investment Rs1,560,938,000, development loans and advances by the federal government Rs156,314,643,000, External development loans and advances by the federal government Rs133,358,135,000, Capital outlay on works of Foreign Affairs Division Rs199,774,000, Capital outlay on civil works Rs5,940,464,000, Capital outlay on Industrial Development Rs1,775,205,000, Capital outlay on Maritime Affairs Davison Rs10,118,683,000, Capital outlay on Pakistan Railways Rs34,411,473,000.
