SARGODHA: The Punjab government has released Rs 60 million funds to the district and tehsil Headquarters hospitals for treatment of TB patients and health professional allowance for doctors.
According to official sources, a total of Rs 12.5 million have been released to hospitals for the treatment of TB patients. The funds have been released under TB control programme.
A total Rs 47.52 million have been released for health professional allowance, out of which, Rs 2.04 million would be given to district health authority Sargodha, Rs 1.08 million to DHA Khushab, Rs 1.08 million to DHA Mianwali and Rs 1.3 million to health department Bhakkar.
