ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested eight persons from various areas of the city and recovered 3.56 kilogram opium, hashish, heroin, weapons and stolen car from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.
According to details, Sub-Inspector Ghulam Shabbir from Tanrol police arrested Zaman and Nasir Ali during routine patrolling and recovered 3.56 kilogram opium from them. Sub-Inspector Tahir Khan from Aabpara police arrested Navid Masih for possessing 40 gram heroin while Haider Abbass and Sadiq Hussain were arrested in possession of one 30 bore pistol and rounds by ASI Muhammad Niaz from Shehzad town police.
ASI Aurangzeb from Sihala police arrested Muhammad Javid in possession of 32 bore pistol and rounds.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Abbass from Koral police arrested a woman Jamila Bibi in possession of 135 gram hashish.
