KSE-100 close of day

KARACHI: After moving both sides, the KSE-100 index on Monday closed at 11,040.31 level, down 85.04 points.

During the session, the index hit 11,163.21 points intra-day high and 11,024.99 intra-day low.

Trading activity remained extremely low as share volume declined to 20.914 million as compared to 39.043 million traded in the last session.

Fatima Fertilizer Co. was the volume leader with 2.704 million shares. However, it lost 35 paisas to close at Rs 22.66, followed by TRG Pakistan that declined by Re 0.08 to close at Rs1.07 with 2.132 million shares. Of 302 active stocks, 70 advanced and 112 declined while the value of 120 stocks remained unchanged.
