ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Javed Abbasi has said his party would win the upcoming general elections on basis of performance and prudent policies.

The result of next elections would tell loudly about popularity of PML-N as people were satisfied with the development work of the present government, he said talking to a private news channel.

He said PML-N had won the general election 2013, bye-polls, Local Bodies and Cantonment elections with thumping majority.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) were not in position to compete with PML-N in the elections, he claimed.

The senator said whenever PTI candidate lost the seat then its leadership made hue and cry of riggings in that election.

He said PTI was doing politics on non-issues to get public attention but people were well-aware about its nefarious tactics.

To a query, he said PPP had signed National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) with former president Pervez Musharaf and its Co-chairman, president Asif Ali Zardari had criticized the national institutions as well.
