Romanian Ambassador calls on Defence Production Minister

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Romania, Nicolae Gola called on Federal Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain here on Thursday.

Welcoming the dignitary, the minister expressed the desire to further strengthen bilateral relations with Romanian defence industries, said a press release issued here.

The minister was of the view that there was a need for regular exchanges with Romania on issues of mutual interest.

He also urged on exploring potential for joint collaboration and mutual cooperation in defence production.

He offered the products and services of Pakistan defence industries to Romania.

Rana Tanveer Hussain expressed the satisfaction over the headway in construction of offshore patrol vessels for Pakistan Navy. The minister expressed best wishes for the people of Romania.

Romanian Ambassador said that Pakistan was extremely important country with a rich culture, working democracy, vibrant economy and hospitality.

He showed his ambitions to work to improve relations between Pakistan and Romania.
