faisal-raza-abidiKARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Faisal Raza Abidi says police baton-charged peaceful protesters. The police baton-charged the Lyari Aman Committee protesters over their demands of restoring peace in the city and .

Earlier, law enforc­ement agencies were deploy­ed to preven­t the Aman Commit­tee protes­tors from reachi­ng Bilawa­l House have apprehended several demonstrators.

The Aman Committee were proceeding to Bilawal House to demand release of their members.

Police has cordonned off the Shaheen Complex road.
