ISLAMABAD: Chairman Gwadar Port Authority Dostain Jamaldini on Tuesday said that a huge investment was being made through federal, provincial governments besides local and foreign companies to achieve fast economic development in the entire region of Pakistan.
The figure would cross hundred billion dollars through investment in various projects in days to come, he said while talking to a news channel.
About 1.7 billion rupees was being spent on construction of business complex, he said.
China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would bring fast economic development in the entire region, he added.
Jamaldini said the regular ships were arriving in Gawadar due to CPEC. A university would start functioning soon in the city of Gawadar, he added.
To a question he said besides other areas, the locals would also have benefits from CPEC projects.
